Experience Changes You Never Thought Were Possible For Your Child

Helping pre-kindy and kindy aged children build stronger foundations for learning, communication, movement, focus and confidence

Some things appear harder than they should for your child.

ECBB helps identify and support the underlying foundations that can influence how your child moves, learns, focuses and responds

You know your child is capable. But something seems to be getting in the way.

Is your child ready for Kindy or Prep?

Maybe your child is bright, curious and full of personality — but you’re wondering how they’ll manage when they start Kindy or Prep.

You might be noticing that some everyday things seem harder for them than they should.

Are you worried your child might struggle with:

  • Sitting and listening during stories or group activities

  • Following instructions without lots of reminders

  • Moving from one activity to another without becoming upset

  • Managing big emotions or calming down when overwhelmed

  • Playing and interacting with other children

  • Balance, coordination and physical activities

  • Using pencils, scissors, buttons or other fine motor skills

  • Communicating their needs, ideas or feelings

  • Trying new things or joining in

  • Staying focused long enough to complete an activity

  • Coping with busy, noisy or unfamiliar environments

  • Independence with things like dressing, eating and toileting

School readiness is about more than ABCs and 123s.

Starting Kindy or Prep asks a lot of children. They need to be able to listen, move, communicate, regulate their emotions, follow routines, interact with others and have the confidence to give things a go.

Sometimes there’s more going on beneath the surface.

At Early Childhood Brain Balancing, we look beyond the behaviour and explore the developmental foundations that support how your child moves, learns, focuses, communicates and responds.

If you’re wondering whether your child is ready for Kindy or Prep, please feel welcome to contact us. We’re happy to listen to your concerns and talk through what you’re seeing. ❤️

What if there’s more going on beneath the surface?

Children develop incredibly quickly during their early years.

Their brains and nervous systems are constantly learning how to control movement, process information, manage emotions and respond to the world around them.

Sometimes, these foundations don't develop as smoothly as we'd expect.

This can affect things such as:

Movement • Coordination • Balance • Focus • Learning • Sensory Processing • Emotional Regulation

At ECBB, we look at the foundations.

Our approach focuses on the developmental movement patterns and skills that support your child's ability to learn, move, focus and regulate.

One area we look at is primitive reflex integration — helping your child's nervous system develop more mature movement and response patterns through targeted activities and exercises.

Every child is different.

That's why your child's program is individually assessed and tailored to their needs.

Whichever pathway you choose...

Your child's program is individually assessed and tailored to their needs. We'll work together to support the foundations that help your child move, learn, focus and thrive.

What could change for your child?

Every child is different. As we work with your child's individual developmental needs, you may begin to notice changes in the way they move, learn, focus and respond to the world around them.

Small changes can make a big difference.

For some children, progress might look like focusing for a little longer. For others, it might be better coordination, greater confidence, calmer responses or being able to participate in something that was previously difficult.

We celebrate progress in all its forms.

🧠 Better Focus & Attention

Helping your child stay engaged and participate for longer.

⚖️ Improved Coordination & Balance

Supporting body awareness, coordination and confidence in movement.

📚 Easier Learning

Building stronger foundations for learning and development.

❤️ Calmer Emotions

Supporting your child's ability to regulate and respond to everyday challenges.

🌱 Greater Confidence

Helping your child feel more capable and willing to try.

About me

6.50 Drags-6.jpg

I believe every child has potential, even when that potential can sometimes be hidden by the challenges they are experiencing.

My role is to look beyond the difficulty and understand the child as a whole — how they move, learn, focus, regulate and interact with the world around them.

Through ECBB, I work with children and their families to build stronger developmental foundations and give children more opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.

My professional background

Qualified Primary Teacher

Registered Nurse

Melillo Method / Connected Kidz trained

Early Childhood Brain Balancing practitioner

I believe parents should feel informed, supported and involved in their child's journey. That's why I work alongside families, explaining what we're doing, why we're doing it and how they can support their child at home.

Your child is more than their challenges.

My goal is to help you discover what's possible.

Real families. Real progress.

“He has overcome challenges that once seemed impossible.”

Our son has made incredible progress. He is now confidently communicating his needs, ideas and emotions, and we have seen a huge growth in his confidence when interacting with other children and building friendships. He has overcome challenges that once seemed impossible, from not wanting to get into the pool to enjoying weekly swimming lessons and practising riding his bike independently. Most importantly, his emotional regulation has improved significantly, and his reactions to challenges are much calmer and less intense.

“She is more confident, more connected and less anxious.”

Our daughter has made remarkable progress. She is now much more confident in social situations, happily playing with other children and enjoying activities that once caused significant anxiety. Her emotional regulation has improved dramatically, with fewer meltdowns and a much greater ability to calm herself when upset, along with improvements in her concentration, coordination, confidence and ability to focus on learning activities.

ASD Level 3, ADHD

We have seen encouraging changes.

Our 4-year-old daughter has Global Developmental Delay, with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder. When she started Early Childhood Brain Balancing, she had limited expressive language, rarely initiated conversations, struggled with balance and coordination, and was falling around 3–4 times a day.

Since starting the program, we have seen some wonderful changes.

Her language has really developed. She is using longer sentences, learning new words, and now spontaneously starts conversations with us. She even remembers and talks about things that happened in the past, like going swimming with Dad.

Her physical confidence has also improved. She falls much less often, manages stairs with greater independence and is now attempting things at the playground that she previously couldn't do — including lifting herself onto the monkey bars.

We have also noticed improvements in her attention and play. She is able to stay engaged for longer and is exploring a much wider range of activities, from puzzles and playdough to imaginative play with her toy babies and kitchen.

Even though she still has areas she is working on, particularly social communication and toileting, we are incredibly encouraged by the progress we are seeing. Watching her become more confident, capable and engaged has been incredibly rewarding.
